I volunteered thinking I'd help out for one season. Four years later I'm still here. The families you meet become part of your life.
I started as a nervous U8. Now I'm in the 1st XV. The coaches in this club genuinely care — not just about the rugby, but about what kind of person you're becoming.
I came for the kids and stayed for the friendships. Sunday morning at the canteen is honestly one of the highlights of my week. You can't explain it — you just have to come.
Watching these kids grow from nervous year 5s into confident young athletes — that's why I do it. Rugby teaches them things a classroom can't.
