Minis
Sunday mornings at Wakehurst Rugby Park. U6–U9 play in the Warringah/Manly District Minis competition — Tag Rugby (non-contact) for U6/U7, Tackle Rugby for U8/U9. Blueys (ages 4–5) join free every week — no registration needed.
Wallabies U6
TagThe beginning of the rugby journey. U6 play SJRU Tag Rugby — velcro tags instead of tackles. Seven players a side on a quarter-sized field built for little legs, with no scrums and no lineouts. Maximum running, maximum smiling.

Juniors
U10–U16 compete in the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU) competition across the Northern Beaches. Teams are graded on capability, not just age. Friday night and Sunday games from late April.
Wakehurst U10
SJRU Junior RugbyFirst year of the full SJRU Junior Rugby competition. Twelve players a side, contested scrums and lineouts, drop kick-offs. Grading rounds in Term 1 determine division placement. A big step up — and a big season for development.

Wakehurst U11
SJRU Junior RugbyGrading rounds in March–April, followed by a full SJRU round-robin competition. Twelve players a side on a near-full field. Wakehurst U11 focuses on skill development, set piece basics, and building team culture.

Wakehurst U12
SJRU Junior RugbyThe game opens up at U12. Fifteen players, full field, full set piece. SJRU competition plus Development Gala opportunities for our best players to represent district sides.

Wakehurst U13
SJRU Junior RugbyFull fifteen-a-side rugby under Australian U19 Law Variations. Lineouts, contested scrums, full kicking game. The Development Gala gives top performers their first taste of representative rugby.

Wakehurst U15 (JV Newport)
SJRU Junior Rugby (JV)Full 15-a-side rugby on a full field. WRC U15 plays in the JV Newport combined competition — giving players access to a larger player pool and stronger competition. Contested scrums, full lineouts, full back-row patterns.

Wakehurst U16
SJRU Junior RugbyUnder-16s play the full game under SJRU rules. Top performers are on the pathway toward Colts and the senior program. Strong connection between the U16 coaching group and our 1st XV coaching staff.

SJRU Junior RugbyWakehurst U14 is in development for 2026. Players may be eligible to participate with U13 or U15 programs. Contact the junior coordinator for placement information.

Three senior sides competing in NSW Suburban Rugby Union — 1st XV, Reserve XV, and Colts (U21). Saturday afternoon games. The clubhouse is alive on senior game days.
